Ronald Jackson grew up in the East End of Richmond and has called Richmond home for the majority of his life.  He graduated from John Marshall High School in 1966 and then enrolled in Saint Christopher's School in dowtown Richmond for one year of post Graduate studies.  In 1968 he enrolled at Randolph Macon College where he played basketball and received a degree in History in 1972.  After graduating, he moved to Providence, Rhode Island to work for Provident Mutual.  At Provident Mutual he became a leading agent and eventually used this position to segue into a job at Wheat Securities back in Richmond, Va.  

In 1978 he received his CLU from American College and in 1980 he earned his ChFC as well.  At Wheat he worked in the Corporate Compensation Department.  By 1984 he had worked himself into the position of Executive Vice-President of the Bank of Virginia.  By 1988 he realized a different calling in life and this was the year he started the Jackson Insurance Agency.   Over the last 21 years, he has received numerous company and industry awards for his work in the world of Insurance and his agency has expanded to over 4000 clients.  He has maintained a small, family-owned  atmosphere and he has tried to convey this to any and every person willing to listen.  It is what has always set him apart and he has tried to convey this same message to his son who came into the agency in 2006.

Brandon Jackson grew up on the Southside of Richmond where he attended James River High School.  After graduating in 1999 he enrolled at the University Of Virginia where he studied Economics and Spanish.  After receiving a degree from the College of Arts and Sciences at UVA, Brandon went his own way and moved down to the Outer Banks of North Carolina.  After living and working there for five years, a change was imminent and he began to study and research the family business. 

Once receiving his insurance licenses for the States of Virginia and North Carolina, Brandon moved back to Richmond and began working in the family business.  Like his father, Brandon is committed to maintaining a small town atmosphere and providing service with the same attitude that has made the Jackson Insurance Agency a successful family owned business in the heart of Richmond.

Tanya Jackson is a native of Providence Rhode Island and a graduate of the University of Rhode Island.  She received her Masters in Education in 1973 and began to teach elementary school in Rhode Island.  Upon moving to Richmond in 1978 she continued teaching elementary school, a profession she would continue for the next 20 years.  After a few years of retirement, she too received her insurance license for the State of Virginia and began to work at the Jackson Insurance Agency in 2007. 

In 2007, the Jackson Insurance Agency became a complete family affair.  It is something that we are very proud of and something that we think distinguishes us from the rest of the competition.  In addition to the outstanding customer service that ERIE Insurance already provides, the Jackson Insurance Agency prides itself on being as locally oriented as possible.
